Tom smiled as he entered the hall, the decoration had been out of this world. He looked up at the streamers which hung diagonally across the pillars, twinkling and changing colour by the minute. He had wanted to leave his imprint on the feast and had really went to town with spells earlier on. The tables had been carefully transfigured to resemble the type of land the founder of the house had came from. Gryffindor a sandy red coloured moor, hufflepuff a bright yellow valley with a miniature river of pumpkin juice flowing through the center, Slytherin a grey/green fen complete with a marsh with little fish swimming inside it and Ravenclaw a blue glen with a waterfall.
The Staff table was set up on its platform as usual but on its surface the smiling faces of previous headmasters and headmistresses looked up. He walked up to the table and took his seat in one of the large golden chairs in the center, the other being for Matt. Then, he waited for the feast to begin.

Caroline walked into the hall, completely annoyed about having to be there. There was nothing to do, and Caroline felt a strange urge to just murder all the other professors and set the school on fire. Obviously she couldn't, but it was still nice to dream. Caroline walked around the back of the staff table and stood about a foot from one of the headmasters.
"Am I supposed to sit anywhere specific?" She asked. Preferably she was, and that place was right next to the door so she could slip out early. Caroline folded her arms across her chest, her face expressionless. She was just realising that she had forgot to put on those stupid black robes, and was wearing pink silk robes with a gold trim, which was opened to reveal gold high heels, navy skinny jeans, and a tight white tank top. He better not make me change, Carrie thought, biting the inside of her lip.

Roslyn walked briskly but lightly into the Great Hall, a frown pasted on her pretty face. She was fed up with this school, and wished she could switch to Beauxbatons or some other school FAR AWAY. Of course, it was better now that her sister was here and she had someone to bug, but still.
Speaking of her sister, Rose saw her as soon as she stepped into the great hall. Carrie was at the staff table, either talking or arguing with one of the Headmasters. Arguing was more likely, Carrie always had to have everything her way. Rose smiled maliciously and practically ran over to where Caroline was.
"Hey, Carrie!" She said, still smiling. Carrie would probably kill her for this later, but that was part of the fun of bugging her.

Anish left the Gryffindor common room and walked down the stairs and was of to the great hall. He hated being the last one there so he thought he would leave a bit early. Anish reached the Marble stair case and walked into the Great Hall on his own and realised that he was not the only student there. There was a slytherin there too. There was also Professor Tom Merrythought and Professor Caroline Hale. He thought the great hallo was a phenomina.
Anish gazed around and walked over to the Gryffindor table and took his place and waited for his friends to come.

"Hey, Carrie!" That annoying voice Caroline had been intent on avoiding when she accepted the job here was beside her, and Caroline sighed audibly and barely resisted rolling her eyes. She turned her head to face Roslyn, frowning.
"Rosie, Get to your table and stay there like the little angel you make yourself out to be. I'm busy. And if you bother me again I will dump a bucket of leeches in your bed and hang snakes from the bed curtains. Got it?" Caroline said, glaring at her little sister.

Tom looked up from his book and much to his annoyance he found Caroline Hale. Swallowing the impulse to pull the book over his head he simply waved his hand to the left, as far away from him as possible. He noticed with a frown her inappropriate attire but decided that he would confront her later. His glasses nearly fell off his nose as he heard her reply to the glumy fourth year. ''Professor Hale! We do not speak to students like that at this school!'' He shook his head angrily and wished someone else would show up.

Lezlie almost waltzed in when she saw the Ravenclaw table. She sat down and examined it further. A grin crossed her face as she looked at the rest of the tables, she liked it. Her lips surpassed a sigh now, though she had enough energy to be extremely optimistic she was looking for someone to share it with. It looked as if she were the only Ravenclaw here at the moment so she half slouched and looked around some more.
After her little moment of sadness she watched the door again, hoping someone she knew would walk through and sit with her and share her energy.

Carrie rolled her eyes, then turned back to face the Heasmaster. "Headmaster, this little demon of a teenager is my little sister, Roslyn. I make speak to her as a wish, according to our mother, and she will listen to me, also as requested by our mother. Thank God Allison graduated last year," She muttered at the end, speaking of her other sister who was now at the ministry. (Once again, no muse )

Kris walked into the great hall and didnt see very many student, so he walked over to the Hufflepuff table and sat quickly and saw that he was the first at his table. He smiled and started to twiddle his thumbs and wait for something else new to happen.

Another year at Hogwarts; Matt's fifteenth to be exact, and his first as Headmaster. How time had flown by, and how much had changed over the course of the past decade frightened him. What new excitement could be expected this term? The young professor walked into the hall, a satisfied smile grazed gently upon his lips. It had been his idea to do something special this term, and both he and Tom had worked their magic together to create a rather exotic yet gorgeous display for the students. The enchanted ceiling above bewitched the night sky, and a thousand candles hovered high above. Some students sat at their tables, the rest as he assumed were on their way.
"Good evening Tom, Professor Hale, Ms. Hale." interrupted the headmaster calmly, taking his seat at the head of the table next to Tom.

Jocelyn fussed over her robes as she walked briskly down the rows of tables toward the staff table. She had a very strange day, and the term hadn't truly started. "Good evening Professor Merrythought, Professor Potter, Professor Hale. I do hope I'm not late for anything of importance." She gave a soft sigh as she sank into a chair, once again fussing over something, this time her hair. She let her eyes slowly slide shut as she caught her breathe from her near run to get down to the great hall. It had been a very strange day.

Letting out a yawn as he walked down the halls, Jason made his way into the Great Hall. Only reason why the poor boy was late was because he had been so deprived of sleep lately. And he did manage to fall asleep, he practically passed out. Walking to the table he smiled at them. "Sorry for arriving late." he said softly and sat down.

Caroline glanced at the new arrivals and nodded to aknowledge their existance, then went to sit down next to Professor Potter, who was on the other side of Professor Merrythought, who didn't really induce any Merry Thoughts, despite his idiotic name.
"Good Evening, Professor Potter," Caroline said, smiling slightly.

Jafar took a hot bath and put his clothes on then he made his way to the Great Hall . When he arrived the food was on the tables and every thing was prepared ,but there were not many students .
So he walked and took a seat on Gryffindor table and waited for his friends to show up and while he was sitting He glanced Kris on Hufflepuff table so he smiled at him and waved to say Hi.
and then he saw Anish too so he changed his seat and got closer to him and said" Hi Anish , How are you?" Because he couldn't see him at first.

When he had sat down, he had seemed to interrupt some tension, for Tom had a very hardened expression upon his face. He recognized the same female professor whom had caused some problems during the Staff meeting as she sat down next to him and bade him a good evening. "Bonjour, Caroline." he repled calmly after taking a swig of butterbeer. "And please, call me Matt."
