Cole smiled as he tilted his head, watching Addie, happy that she was feeling better. "I missed talking to you too. I've been wanting to talk for a while now." He tilted his head and watched her sigh and lean back against the couch. He closed his eyes, just rubbing his thumb across her hand softly as he thought. He had been trying for most of last year to talk to Addie but it never worked out for him and soon Cole just gave up trying. Oh well, non of that matters now. I'm getting to talk to her now so I'll take advantage of that, no matter anything else.

Addie smiled at Cole's reassuring touch, it brought back good memories of when they were younger. Adela shuffled a little closer, her body against Cole's now, and Adela shifted her head so it was on Cole's shoulder. It was a big step, but this was Cole and Addie! They were the best of friends when they were kids, all they had cared about was each other then, and it hadn't changed much since then.
Adela remembered last year and had felt horrible, but in all truth it wasn't her fault. Her parents had started 'grooming' her to be a death eater, but it wasn't something that Adela wanted to do. At unscheduled times all throughout the year, Addie's parents had pulled her out of school because of a 'family personal' reason. Adela had been training for everything. She was thrown into jungle climates, thrown on top of Mount Everest and abandoned there, she had gone through everything. "About last year..." Addie trailed off, waiting for Cole to say something.

Cole smiled as he felt Addie lean against him and even rest her head on his shoulder. He closed his eyes and rested his head ontop of her own softly, feeling like they were little kids once again. He continued to brush his thumb across Addie's hand softly, letting the silence settle around them before he heard Addie start to talke. Cole waited for a moment but after she trailed off and didn't pick it back up he smiled softly. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to talk with you. I should have hunted you down but you always seemed busy or I could never find you."
Cole went silent for a moment before he sighed softly. "I heard that your parents had been pulling you out for some reason or another. I heard a lot of the girls talking about it and the different reasons for it. But you don't have to explain anything to me. I'm just happy that I can talk with you once again."

Addie nodded softly, gently. "My parents pulled me out frequently..." Addie stopped for a moment, before finishing her words. "For Death Eater Training. I was always so messed up afterwords. I came back, half starved or half dead. Beaten, scratches on my face, broken limbs, everything." Adela stopped, wondering if he remembered seeing her battered form. Some days she was too bruised to even get up or walk. Adela loved the feeling she got when she was with Cole, and she was starting to think that she loved him, as more then a friend. No Addie, stop right there. Cole is a friend, don't screw this up.

Cole listened silently for a moment before he wrapped his arms loosely around Addie, just holding her. "Yeah...I remember seeing you really beaten up some times." He rested his head softly on Addie's, listening to her breathing before he laughed softly. "I got really good at listening in on conversations from random people to learn about you. I wanted to make sure you were okay and everything." He went quiet once more, not saying anything about her training to be a death eater or if she avoided it.
