I'm looking at you through the Glass
Don't know how much time has passed
Oh, God, it feels like forever.
But no-one ever tells you that forever feels like home,
Sitting all alone inside your head
The bare-footed pacing from the office of Eoin Hanlon grew steadily louder as the day grew lighter. Up since dawn, the young professor had a lot on his mind, a lot to do, and, in his mental state, very little time in which to do it. That fact really annoyed him.
Finished with his pacing, the Seventeen year old got changed from his pyjamas, and into his normal attire of black jeans, and black t-shirt. His usual dress-code made his skin pallid, almost white, but he didn't care, he like it that way. He replaced the onyx stud in his lip, with a silver captive-bead ring, and lined his ice-blue eyes, before brushing his long, ebony black hair.
He stepped out of his office, onto the new, cold wooden floor of the Divination Classroom. He yawned lightly, stretching out his tiny five-foot-three frame. The cold from the floor didn't affect him, despite his bare feet.
He wandered idly over to the fire, before lighting it. The smoke from the fire drifted about the room, making it smell faintly of sage and rosemary, for that was what he had set alight. He waved his hands, and the curtains opened, flooding the room with early September light. But they would not remain open for long, since he preferred it dark, he would shut them again when his students arrived. The only reason for opening them, was so that he could see.
Instead of tables and chairs, there were cushions, and very low tables, which forced the students to sit cross-legged, upon the cushions, so the were lower than he. This wasn't because he felt superior, despite that he did, but it was because of his height. Being so small, it was difficult for him to teach anyone on a higher table, on a higher level of the room, since he would have to look up, and for Eoin, this was simply too much like hard work.
He pulled the cushions of ebony velvet and gold trims, out of the cupboard in the corner, jumping back as they all fell out. He then went around the classroom, arranging them so that it was six per table, three on either side. After this, he did the same with the table cloths, going around the room at least three times, checking everything was perfect, before heading to the blackboard and writing upon it:

Once all this was done, Eoin sat upon a spare cushion, in the middle of the floor, crossed his legs, and closed his eyes, awaiting the arrival of his second year students.[/blockquote]
