Tick, Tock. Tick, Tock. The third year Hufflepuff sat on the bed in her dorm, sketch pad in hand, attempting to sketch a detailed unicorn from pure memory, with the clock on the wall ticking away annoyingly. Diana grabbed her wand from next to her, did the simple swish and flick movement with her wrist and said the spell, “Wingardium Leviosa” directly at the clock, making it lift off it’s nail. Smiling to herself she moved it to float mid-air outside her window and put her wand back on her bed, listening at the sound of a falling object grew fainter and fainter as it plummeted down to the ground.
She shrugged and went back to her work until her stomach began to growl. She groaned and wished she had the clock, she was so busy in her sketch, she didn’t realize that everyone was already finished with dinner. She stuck her wand in her knee length converse, walked down the stairs in a pair of boy shorts and a tank top, and looked around at all of the first years in the common room. She smiled sweetly at some of the boys and nearly laughed as their faces turned a deep shade of red.
She bounded out of the portrait hole and danced her way down the stairs to where she thought the great hall was. Some how, some way she got lost. She sighed and walked into a classroom that’s door was surprisingly unlocked. She looked around and said, “There’s no food here.” with a playful pout into the darkness. She sat on top of one of the desks and thought to herself. Finally she reached down and brought her wand out, saying a simple spell to create a cup of coffee. She smiled and sipped it slowly and happily, waiting for someone to come in and find her.

Jesse walked through the halls, wondering where in the world Bella was. He hadn't seen her in ages, and had been stuck hiding in his office lately. He sighed. It was so boring here, but he loved hogwarts and couldn't bear to leave. He sighed, entering a classroom that he had thought was empty, but upon looking up he saw a toung hufflepuff. not the hufflepuff he had been looking for, but a human all the same. "Oh, I"m sorry, Ms," Jesse said softly, smiling at the girl.

Diana had been there for a good ten minutes before growing immensely impatient. There was nothing to do in the large school when you knew no one. She ended up moving towards the center of the table and crossing her legs. With a flick of her wrist the cup of coffee was gone, in it’s place was the muggle novel Wuthering Heights. She opened to her page and used her wand as a light, using the commonly know spell, “Lumos.” She began to read and barley saw the door open, much less the older gentleman walk in. In fact, she was almost oblivious to him until he spoke an apology.
Diana looked up and pointed the wand in the general direction of the voice. “It’s fine Professor.” she said smiling widely. She moved to let her legs dangle off the edge of the desk, smiling sweetly at him. Had she seen the professor before? Yes. Yes she had. In her fantasies of the hottest guy in the history of the world. She smiled at him and patted the spot next to her.

Jesse gave a soft chuckle. The girl was flirting with him. He ruffled his hair and smiled at her. "Please, don't call me that. My name is Jesse," Jesse informed her softly, "I'm not that old, and it makes me feel old when I am called Professor." Jesse smiled and moved to sit across from the girl instead of directly beside her.

Diana smiled at the man as he introduced himself as Jesse. She tilted her head slightly and said, "Pleasure to meet you Jesse. My name's Diana." with a smile. She listened to his explanation on why he didn't like being called Professor and giggled a bit. Such an interesting explanation for a completely sexy guy. She smiled as he sat across from her and put on of her shoes on the edge of the table, hugging her knee to her chest. "What brings you here?" she asked tilting her head slightly.

Jesse smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Diana," Jesse said pleasantly to the pretty girl. He smiled at her giggle. He shrugged at her question. "Not a lot. I was just walking around... sort of looking for someone..." Jesse replied softly. he shrugged. "i clearly didn't find who I was looking for, but I am happy that I found someone to talk to," Jesse replied softly.

Diana smiled at him and said, "Maybe I can help. Who were you looking for?" she asked resting her cheek on the side of her exposed knee. She listened to what he said about finding her and said, "What class do you teach?" with a small smile. She knew that she needed to pass different class to progress to the next year and so far, she had not signed up for even one class. She wanted to sign up for something she was interested in. And she knew what ever subject this fascinating male taught would be interesting enough.

Jesse smiled softly. "Isabella Swan. She's a 1st year," Jesse replied softly, saying no more on the subject and making it look as though he wasn't concerned about it. He smiled again. "I teach Dueling. Why do you ask?" Jesse asked curiously. He wasn't sure if he could handle another pretty girl in his class.

Diana knew her eyes must’ve shown the disappointment she felt. She could’ve sworn the Swan girl was in her house. But she hadn’t been sure as to where she was at the moment. She smiled to hide the worry in her eyes and said, “Sorry, I’m not sure I know her.” with another smile.
She made a mental note as to the class he taught and smiled at his question. “I need some classes. I might as well like someone in the class. Especially if it is the teacher.” she said with a flirty smile. No! Stop it! Stop flirting! He’s probably in his twenties and you’re thirteen. You have no chance! Her logical mind yelled at her. She sighed mentally, knowing this was probably the case.

Jesse gave a soft chuckle. "Well, she hasn't been around. And I'm sick of looking for her, heard she was making out with some Slytherin anyways," Jesse said softly, his voice darkening towards the end. He looked past Diana and out a window, his smile gone. He sighed and looked back to Diana with a shrug.
"I suppose I should have known better, huh? Should find someone a little closer to my age," Jesse said softly. He gave another chuckle as she flirted. "You wouldn't be the first, Diana. Very close to being the prettiest, but not the first. Bella is in my class and enjoys torturing me... when she is actually there," Jesse said softly.

Diana rose an eyebrow at the rumor going around. A Slytherin? She might have been new to this school’s terms but….wasn’t Slytherin the nasty part of the school? She really didn’t have anything to say on that subject.
As he spoke of finding someone close to his age she said, “If it’s not to rude of me to ask. How young are you?” trying hard not to sound rude. There was no way this man was more then 23 years old, if not a little younger. She smiled at this and said, “You deserve better…” in a voice that was barley more than a whisper.

Jesse heard the girl's soft voice and smiled softly. "Maybe I do... I'm 19. and no, I don't think it is rude to ask me my age. How old are you, if you don't mind me asking," Jesse asked softly, letting his voice warm towards the girl. He flashed her a smile.

Diana smiled at the age. Five years. That wasn’t [bi]that [/i] bad. She smiled as he asked her hers and said, “I’m fourteen and it’s not that you might deserve better. It’s that you do deserve better.” not caring that she was correcting her soon-to-be-teacher. She moved her legs to dangle once more and leant towards Jesse, “She doesn’t know how lucky she is to have you.” she said with a sweet smile.

Jesse gave a shake of his head. "God Diana. You hardly know me, why would you think I deserve better, and why are you flirting with me?" Jesse asked, willing himself not to comply and flirt back. He sighed softly at her sweet smile. It about done him in. He stood, striding past her to gaze out a window.
"I'm sorry, Diana. I'm just... confused," Jesse said softly, his voice apologetic.

Diana was taken aback by his statement. It cut, and it cut deep. She kept her gaze focused on the door to keep check of her emotions. She looked over at him and forced a small smile, “It’s fine.” she said hearing the strain in her voice attempting to keep her voice level. She wasn’t used to being spoken to so harshly. Either she was spoken to in sarcasm by her friends at her old school, or spoken to cautiously by her parents. She was at the top of her class and rarely spoke up. Either way, it was extremely rare she was spoken to in a scolding way.
