Adela couldn't sleep. It was so late at night, and the sky was a color described only as pitch, but the darkness was also eerie, since it seemed to swallow everything around it, Addie couldn't even see the Whomping Willow from her room as she usually could. Sighing, Addie got up and walked from her bed to the door, carefully opening it and walking down the stone stairs.
If Addie got caught out of bed so late at night, she would undoubtedly be in trouble, but she didn't care any more about being in trouble then she did last year, or the year before. All the same Addie walked carefully from her Common Room on the seventh floor to the stairs that were like a twisting labyrinth, a labyrinth that changed every five minutes. Addie sighed carefully then walked from where she was standing to the next landing, a floor down from where she stood.
Adela walked farther and farther down from the Seventh floor, and arrived at the Ground floor, the Entrance hall. Addie walked to the second door on the left and opened it. Adela stepped through without hesitation and shut the door carefully behind her. The stone seemed to echo every footstep ten times louder then it originally was. Addie walked down a flight of stairs, and arrived in the dank, dark dungeons. Here is where she had to be careful. If the Slytherins caught her... It wouldn't be pretty. The sixteen year old walked through the twisting corridors until she found the abandoned room that she was seeking, marked with a nearly invisible 'x'.
Pushing the door open, Adela was thankful that at least one hinge in this entire castle was well oiled. Addie shut the door behind her and walked to a desk, placing her hand upon it gently. A hidden compartment popped open in the side of the desk, and Adela pulled out some of her songs that she had written. Addie was a song writer, and a rather accomplished one at that. She sang for the muggle world under the pseudonym Skye Sweetnam, for her cousin, Skye, and her mother's maiden name, Sweetnam. Addie took her spot in the chair that she always sat at, and bent over her parchment, scribbling random thoughts that seemed to pour from her pencil subconsciously. Addie was so busy writing in her fervent stage that she didn't hear the door creak open, and someone enter.

Signalius was wandering the dungeons. well.. Signalius wasn't Riot was.. his new alter-ego. With flaring eyes he roamed around the darkness searching for something he couldn't find. He suddenly heard footsteps. He followed the sound until he found a door. he opened it and took a look inside the room, a girl was there, he didn't know her. and he didn't care. he closed the door behind him. "what are you doing here? at this hour?" he demanded at her. he didn't really care of how mean he sounded. she had no business down here in Slytherin Territory.

Adela looked up as a cruel voice demanded information from her. Standing, Addie saw a, rather attractive male Slytherin. Raising a single eyebrow, Adela spoke in a cold tone, something she had mastered from her Slytherin parents. "What business is it of yours what I'm doing here? You don't rule the school, much as you delude yourself that you do." Addie folded her arms across her chest, a few papers fluttered to the floor and landed at this persons feet.
Addie looked at them, concerned that this boy would pick them up and look at them, especially since Adela knew that particular one was called 'Tangled up in Me', a song that had taken Addie days to write. Knowing this boys already cruel attitude, he would pick it up and read it, or better yet, burn it. Addie looked this slightly younger boy directly in his eyes, her blue green eyes staring into the Slytherins. "And, by the way, who are you? You can't order me around!" Adela stopped yelling for a minute and took a deep breath, walking to the opposite side of the room.
That's when Adela recognized him. "You.... you're Signalius Slange aren't you...." Addie trailed off, watching this boy she knew to be Signalius, who was fifteen years of age, and in his fifth year. "Why.... You aren't cruel...." Addie looked at Signalius over her shoulder, biting her lip as she spoke. Addie hated being treated like a child, she was almost seventeen now!

Sig watched her as she spoke back to him in this tone? he sneered, "I can do whatever I want here! this is my playground young girl.." some papers fell to the floor and he whipped his wand, "Accio!" the papers reached his hands quickly, he didn't watch them he just held them, "You've got nothing to do with who I am!" he yelled back at her, shaking her papers. Then she said it, *Signalius Slange..* something inside him clicked. "SLANGE!!!??" he took a few steps towards her, "I'm no Slange!! I'm RIOT!!" he yelled from the top of his lungs,

Adela scoffed gently, letting Sig rage on. "Young girl? Please I'm a Sixth year, and almost seventeen, at least a year older then yourself you foolish boy." Addie heard Sig explode, then rolled her eyes. "Such a typical Slytherin move, you don't have to shout at the top of your lungs, I'm right here. Stop trying to draw attention to yourself, it's quite irritating."
Adela stood before this Riot person, arms crossed and a scowl on her face. The young girl was obviously angry. "You are a Slange, whether you like it or not." Adela stepped close, her sweet breath smelling like vanilla. "Let Riot sleep, bring back the Signalius I know."

))Hope no one minds!(( Alessa stormed out of the common room and down the hallway; in the direction the scream had just come from. She had been trying to get back to sleep, when this indistingt yowl had brought her back to ... awakeness. She was generally angry with whoever had made the nose, as Alessa was exhausted and wanted to go to sleep. Alessa wasn't a girl tp just see what would happen in a couple minutes; she had to ensure the noise maker was silenced for the rest of the night, at least.
She came upon a girl and boy; the boy she vaguely recognized, he was in her own house. They both looked older than Alessa, but that had never bothered Alessa before. She aproached the pair and stood glaring at them with her piercing blue eyes.
"Who made that infernal noise?" She said, frowning. "I could her it all the way into the dormitory."
